During Easter Weekend Road Safe HB and the Hawkes Bay Traffic Police Team held fatigue stops across Hawkes Bay. On Easter Monday the Central Hawkes Bay Traffic Police provided a check point. The focus of this is sober driving and other road safety requirements. Also people travelling on the road where offered the opportunity to ‘take a break’ at the Fatigue Stop provided by Road Safe HB and was supported by Central Hawkes Bay College SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving). The event was very popular with drivers saying how great it was.
