Road Safe Hawke's Bay and New Zealand Police are part of the national group implementing the Safer Journeys Strategy 2020. The Strategy is a model that a number of key agencies are applying to the road safety work they are doing. There are a number of priorities including speed, alcohol, fatigue and un-restrained vehicle occupants. The key principle of the Strategy is to reduce fatal and serious crashes across New Zealand. Remember we can all influence others to drive safely.
