Kate Taylor, the Road Safety Coordinator for Central Hawkes Bay (Road Safe Hawke's Bay) attended the recent ANZ Young Farmer Contest at Patoka. Kate provided a questionnaire which was based around the road code and other road safety questions.
Hamish Best, seen in the photo along with Bryan from the New Zealand Police, participated in the road safety questionnaire. The questionnaire included sections of the road code, updated agricultural guide, and also from NZTA TWIRL safety checks. Hamish won the Hawkes Bay District Final and will compete in the Regional Final next year. Congratulations to Hamish from the Road Safety team.
